New Acclaim Customer Featured: Skamania County, WA

At Harris Recording Solutions, we’re thrilled to share our customers’ accomplishments. Earlier this month we took some time to chat with the Recording Supervisor of Skamania County. Skamania County went live with Acclaim mid last year after upgrading from OnCore. We asked Recording Manager Jayne Borden the following questions:

1. What are the most important Acclaim features that the County is pleased to have?

The user interface is very simple for people to learn. This makes it easy to train new users on how to operate the program.
The user interface for the public search on our website is graphically pleasing and easy for the public to operate.
I am glad to have eRecording be so simple with multiple eRecording companies. The ability to eRecord many documents really speeds up the recording process.

2. What has been your experience like with our Customer Care team?

The customer care team has been very helpful. I really like the new online customer care portal. The people in that department have always done their best to make sure that my requests are fully resolved. In general, the employees at Harris have been helpful and eager to resolve any problems or answer any questions that I have.

3. What, in your opinion, are the biggest strides that the county has been able to make for the public thanks to Acclaim?

The public search function on our website (URL: has been improved to a very user friendly interface which makes it much more appealing for the public to use.
